The Inspiration Behind It All

Natasha Saffold was my beautiful sister who passed away two years ago. She had a radiant soul that could light up any room, not just with her beauty, but with her charm and humor. She was known for always looking fly—her style was unmatched.

I remember being a teenager, going to her house and raiding her closet for the dopest outfits to wear to school. But the closet was more than just a place for fashion—it was where we had our best conversations. That’s where I got my hair inspirations, my next Monday morning fit, and most importantly, her wisdom.

My sister had a tough life. She struggled with mental illness and drug abuse, and ultimately, those battles took her from us. But I know, without a doubt, that she wouldn’t want young girls to struggle the way she did. This is why Natasha’s Closet exists—because it’s needed.

Natasha lives on through me and through every young girl this group will touch. Before she passed, she told me she would always be with me—that no matter what, she would never leave. Now, I finally see it. She told me to love, no matter what, and to show people the light on the other side.

In loving memory of Natasha, I present to you—Natasha’s Closet.
